Staff: I have read this policy and understand the
Internet/Network account is designed for educational purposes only. I understand that the Big Beaver Falls Area
School District will do everything it can to adhere to the Children's Internet
Protection Act H.R. 4577 and filter
questionable material. I also
understand that it is impossible for the Big Beaver Falls Area School District
to restrict access to all controversial materials. I will not hold district personnel, or the Big Beaver Falls Area
School District responsible or legally liable for materials distributed to or
acquired from the network. I also agree
to report any misuse of the information or technology systems to the school
administration. I am fully aware that
the district uses a filtering device in an attempt to block out unacceptable
Internet sites and monitors all network and computer activity. I understand that failure to follow the
procedures listed above may result in disciplinary or legal actions.
